The Guadalupe River Park & Gardens may be Silicon Valley’s most significant public space. Served by a unique public-private partnership, irrigated by 100% recycled water, and playing host to world-renowned plant species – It serves the community as well as the population by its unique model and offerings.
And for most it’s virtually unknown…
May’s service project introduces a unique volunteer public-service event. The Heritage Rose Garden (part of Guadalupe River Park and Gardens) is maintained purely by volunteer efforts. We will work to dead-head, prune, and clean up this unique garden; then enjoy a BBQ and softball, horseshoe, and bocce games in Columbus Park after. This event is FREE, but requires registration for our volunteer efforts and lunch.
